Fichier Tools : Fichier ZIP avec extension .tools contenant le fichier JSON. Renommer le fichier en .Zip et décompresser pour relecture.

 

Exporter et importer une librairie

Copy or Backup your libraries to a local system drive.

There are a number of ways and a number of reasons to Export/Import your tool library data.

Some of the reasons to Export/Import Tool Libraries.

·                     Backup a library onto your local computer

·                     Share your library with others

·                     Receive a library from a tooling supplier

·                     Duplicate a library and edit the Feed & Speeds for a different machine

·                     Edit or add to the library contents in a spread sheet

To Export a Tool Library:

Right-click on the library and select Export Tool Library from the pop-up menu.

Choose a folder location on your system and enter a name for the exported library file.

Select the Export format for the file. The default is .tools extension. There are several formats to choose from. Each type is explained below. Press Save to finish the Export process.

If your goal is to simply backup your tool library, the .tools format will work fine. The other options include...

·                     Fusion 360 .json - is a Java Script format. This is the default format for Fusion 360

·                     HSM Tool Library .hsmlib - is a format interchangeable with Inventor HSM and HSMWorks

·                     Tab Separated Values .tsv - is a Tab delimited file that can be used in a spreadsheet, like Excel

·                     Fusion 360 zipped .tools - is the same as the Fusion .json file, but in a zipped format

To Import a Tool Library:

Right-click on the your Local Library and select Import Tool Library from the pop-up menu.

Go to the location of the library file on your system and select the file to Import.

1.            Press Open to start the Import process.

The system will create a new Library in your Local folder with the same name as the Imported file.
